Brasilito is one of the few “real” villages in the area (it has the requisite soccer field in the center of town, as well as a church and school).  If you’re in Brasilito at the right time, don’t miss a “fiesta”, especially the bull riding.  Brasilito, and its long stretch of gray sand, is popular with Ticos and with budget travelers from abroad.
